Firefighters were called to Owego Free Academy this morning after a fire alarm was triggered inside the building. School district officials say the alarm was accidentally set off by a welding project. Students and staff were evacuated to the Owego Elementary School as a precaution. Fire officials have cleared the scene and no damage was reported.
