The first-ever floor hockey tournament to benefit the Tioga United Way was held last night at the Newark Valley High School. The evening kicked off as faculty members from Owego Free Academy took on faculty from Newark Valley. OFA faculty won that game. The night continued as students from both Newark Valley and OFA went head to head. Owego Free Academy’s student team took home a win in that game as well. Funds were raised for the Tioga United Way through a free will donation admission, and the sale of refreshments.
