A Newark Valley woman is under arrest accused of raping a teenager. New York State Police arrested 22-year-old Cheyenne Elliott Tuesday after investigating an incident that occurred last week. State Police say Elliott had sexual contact with a victim less than 17 years old at a home in the Town of Newark Valley. She was arraigned on a felony count of rape and released without bail. In addition, Elliott was ordered to stay away from the teen. She is scheduled to be back in court next week.
