An annual tradition marks a milestone anniversary on Saturday in downtown Binghamton. This is the 50th anniversary of the St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown Binghamton. When the traditional parade steps off at 130 pm from Court Street and marches to St. Edward’s on the West Side, co-organizer Tom Kelley, says spectators will see several bands, local as well as out of towners. After the parade, the celebration continues at Seton Catholic Central High School on Seminary Avenue with a party until 6 pm. The annual event draws thousands of people each March to downtown Binghamton.
