The Tioga County Department of Solid Waste will hold a tire and scrap metal cleanup event for residents in Spencer this Saturday. Residents of the town and village of Spencer can drop off old tires and scrap metal at the North Spencer Transfer Station on Hillview Road from 8am-12pm. There will be no charge, but you must prove that you live in the town or village. Funds for the program are provided by Upstate Shredding.
