Another alligator has been spotted in Whitney Point. On Sunday, a kayaker contacted police along the Tioughnioga River. State Police confirmed the spotting and have notified the DEC. The kayaker says she spotted an alligator around 3:30 p.m. Sunday near Whitney Point. She contacted authorities right away. If you see an alligator, the DEC asks you to call them right away at (607) 753-3095.
