The community came together on Saturday to enjoy an outdoor barbecue and help fight breast cancer.Traci’s Hope hosted its 14th annual fundraiser at the Apalachin Firemen’s Field. There were raffles, prizes, and of course a barbecue to raise money for local men and women fighting breast cancer.Traci Gibson, who is the inspiration behind the organization, lost her life to breast cancer in 2006. Her father, Gordy Shiner, says the support from the community gives him hope each year.Last year, the family raised $22,000.
