CEO of Tioga State Bank Robert Fisher testified before the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit on Wednesday. Fisher spoke on behalf of legislation to change the regulatory climate for community banks. His testimony stated that community banks did not cause the 2008 financial crisis and they should not have to bear the weight of the regulations intended to address it.
