On Saturday, the New York State Police, New York State Liquor Authority, and Endicott Police Department conducted an Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail in Broome County. The detail targeted establishments that sold alcoholic beverages in the Towns of Union, Dickinson, and Chenango, and the Village of Endicott. Of the nine establishments that were checked, four sold alcohol to an underage operative. Four employees were charged with a violation of the State’s ABC law prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors. The establishments in violation were The New Yorker in Endicott, Barnaby’s Pub and the Blind Tiger Pub in Union, and Mary’s Bar and Lounge in Chenango.
