A jury has been selected in the murder trial of a Chenango County man. Jeremy Coates of Oxford is accused of killing 58-year-old David Green during a robbery at Green’s home in Oxford on Charles Kelly Road in September of 2016. Coates’ alleged co-defendant Melissa Crispell has already pleaded guilty to charges. As part of her plea deal, she will testify against Coates. She is expected to testify later this week. Opening statements began on Monday.
