The Town of Owego will hold its annual tire and scrap metal cleanup Saturday, May 19th from 8AM to 4PM at the Owego Town Hall on Route 434. Town and Village of Owego residents may bring up to 8 tires, up to 19 inches in size, at no charge; they may bring an additional 8 tires at a cost of $1.00 each. Tires may be on rims. The cost will be $2.00 per tire for each tire in excess of 16. Scrap metal may also be dropped of at no charge. Large tires are not accepted.
