A Binghamton High School teacher has been placed on administrative leave following allegations of misconduct, according to the Binghamton City School District. Binghamton Police allege that 47-year-old Timothy Lee of Vestal had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl over a 4-month period beginning in March of 2016. Court documents also indicate that he engaged in another sex act with a 15 or 16 year-old female from March to June of 2017. Lee is a teacher and former coach. Court documents state that he was charged with two counts of criminal sex act in the third degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. These incidents are alleged to have occurred in the city of Binghamton. Lee surrendered himself to detectives according to police. He was released on his own recognizance after arraignment last Wednesday.
