School is closed today in one part of the Owego-Apalachin School District. Due to a water main break, the Apalachin Elementary School is closed today. The remainder of the school district, including Owego Elementary School, Owego Apalachin Middle School, and Owego Free Academy are open. The water main break is only affecting the Apalachin Elementary School. Grandparents day, which was to take place today, will be rescheduled.
