Last Thursday evening, the Broome County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident in the Town of Windsor. A Chevrolet Impala was traveling south on Seward Road when it left the roadway, rolled over and came to rest in a creek. The driver, 54-year-old Cindy Rowe of Harpursville was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle. Speed and failure to negotiate a curve in the roadway were contributing factors. The accident is still under investigation.
