The victim of a fatal alligator attack in Hilton Head, South Carolina, was a kindergarten teacher at the George F. Johnson Elementary School in the Union-Endicott School District. 45-year-old Cassandra Cline was walking her border collie near a lagoon in the Sea Pines area of Hilton Head. Apparently, the alligator went for the dog, and Cassandra died fighting off the alligator. The dog was unharmed. The incident happened yesterday at about 9:30AM. Cassandra owned a vacation home on Hilton Head.
