There was an officer involved shooting near Poughkeepsie yesterday. The State Police were dispatched to a menacing call in the town of Stanford. During the encounter, a State Trooper shot an individual at the scene. The person died later in the day. The names of those involved have not been released. The investigation into the shooting is currently ongoing,
