There is still time to enter the Scarecrow contest being organized by The Candor Chamber of Commerce. There is NO entry fee. Just fill out the entry form and get it to the Chamber by October 3rd. Youth groups, classrooms, service clubs, organizations, families, individuals and businesses are invited to participate. Scarecrows must not have adult or political themes. All scarecrows must be in good taste and appropriate for viewing by the public. Winners will be announced on October 7th at 2 p.m. at the Candor Fire Department. Maps of the location of all scarecrows will be available both online and at the fire department during the Fall Festival.
