This weekend through Thanksgiving weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year. If you’re traveling by car, State police in New York alert motorists to be aware of extra patrols on the highways. ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ is the emphasis of a national campaign to maximize DWI enforcement efforts … the point is to ensure motorists are not injured or killed by an intoxicated or drug impaired driver. During the campaign, New York state troopers will use both marked and unmarked vehicles in their law enforcement efforts.
