The Child Victims Act passed in the New York State Legislature on Monday more than a decade after the bill was introduced…that from Albany TV station WTEN. The bill passed with unanimous support in the NY Senate and passed in the Assembly by a vote of 130-3. The bill would extend the statute of limitations for civil and criminal cases involving victims of childhood sexual abuse.
