The investigation into the cause of a deadly apartment house fire in the city of Binghamton continues today. The fire broke out during the pre-dawn hours Saturday at 109 Walnut Street. Several adults and children escaped…one person didn’t. Police have not yet released the victim’s name. The fire is considered suspicious. The fire is under investigation by the City of Binghamton Police Detective Division in conjunction with the City of Binghamton Fire Marshal’s Office.
