New York State Police at Binghamton have arrested three people after a several month-long investigation that involved the suspects taking a credit card and going on a shopping spree. The arrest stems from a complainant on October 19 when a victim told a trooper that their credit card had charges they did not make. The victim believed that they never got back their card after purchasing food at the McDonald’s drive thru on Front Street in Dickinson.
An investigation revealed that Kenaya T. Williams, 25, of Binghamton, never returned the credit card while working the drive thru. Williams is accused of giving the card to Bashera E. Majewski, 23, of Binghamton, who then allegedly gave the card to Johnoy O. Crockwell, 22, of Endicott. Crockwell purchased several items at several retail stores and a gas station. The trooper located Crockwell on October 20. He was arrested and charged with felony Identity Theft in the second degree and given an appearance ticket to the town of Dickinson Court on October 25.
The continuing investigation revealed surveillance video from October 18 showing Williams working at the drive thru and passing the credit card to Majewski. Williams was arrested November 13 and charged with felony Grand Larceny in the fourth degree. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Dickinson Court on November 29.
On January 17, Majewski was arrested and charged with felony Grand Larceny in the fourth. Majewski was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Dickinson Court on January 17.
