One person was injured after being stabbed last night on Maple Street in the town of Union. It happened around 9 o’clock. The victim suffered an arm injury and was taken to the hospital. The alleged weapon used was a box knife. The assailant fled the scene but was taken into custody a short time later. Police said the two were acquaintances. No word yet on what charges may have been filed.
