A news conference is set for this afternoon to announce 8 new buses hitting the roads in Broome County, paid for by federal and state grants. The event will be held at the Public transportation Facility on Old Mill Road in Vestal. Those scheduled to be in attendance include Congressman Anthony Brindisi, County Executive Jason Garnar, Transit Commissioner Greg Kilmer and members of the county legislature.
