Esperanza Gutierrez, a former WBNG reporter who now represents the American Red Cross in Broome County joined Matt Lewis during the afternoon Show to discuss the upcoming Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. The Endicott Police Department and the Endicott Fire Department will battle to see who can get the most donations. If members of the departments can’t donate, a member of their family can donate in the police officer or firefighters honor. This event is open to the public. Donate blood during the holiday season. One blood donation has the power to save up to 3 peoples lives. As a thank you for donating, the American Red Cross will give an exclusive Red Cross Long-sleeved T-Shirt during the period of December 19-January 5th. The Battle of the Badges will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 9:00am- 2:00pm at 620 E. Main Street in Endicott.
