New Albany man charged with sexually assaulting minor

A New Albany man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor.

According to The Daily Review, the victim told police in August that 26-year-old Rusty Cole Howard began sexually assaulting her two months after her 11th birthday.

Howard consented to a polygraph and an interview, and he allegedly admitted to assaulting the victim.

Howard was charged with felony rape of a child, statutory sexual assault and other related felony and misdemeanor charges.

The suspect was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $300,000 bail.
