Laurel Health celebrates Sullivan County expansion

Laurel Health recently celebrated its latest expansion in Sullivan County. 

The Sullivan County Laurel Health Center in Laporte ensures continued affordable family medicine and dental services in for the rural region, stepping up in place of the former Sullivan County Medical Center and Sullivan County Dental Clinic. 

Officials at Wednesday’s celebration included representatives from Gov. Josh Shapiro’s office and the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Human Services. 

Laurel Health has expanded services into Bradford and Tioga counties in recent years in an effort to ensure a rural safety net of affordable health care, with a sliding fee program for income-eligible families.  

The new center is located at 217 King Street.
