Before the Strawberry Festival Block Party kicks off in downtown Owego Friday, the community is invited to Tioga Opportunities for Strawberries and String with Daphne Braden.
Organizers say Braden’s string melodies will set the tone for a weekend full of celebration and community.
The show will also be a time to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, with a free will offering to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association’s “The Longest Day” campaign. This campaign raises awareness while supporting vital research and providing care and resources to affected families.
