The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force has made several arrests in connection with two recent investigations.
The task force executed a search warrant on Rutherford Street in Binghamton on July 8th, and found a loaded handgun, more than 15 grams of fentanyl, 11 grams of meth and four grams of cocaine along with money from drug proceeds and drug paraphernalia.
Binghamton residents Michael McCary and Rashee Shule, Johnson City resident Arijana Makic, Elizabeth Reid of Halstead, Pennsylvania and Amanda Goodwin of Creek, New York have all been arrested on drug and weapons charges, including criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
On July 11, the task force executed a search warrant on Holland Street and found two loaded guns, more than 10 grams of crack cocaine, 16 grams of cocain and drug paraphernalia.
Binghamton resident Christoper Johnson and George Smith of Manhattan were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
