A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer caused a fuel spill on Interstate 81 South on Tuesday afternoon.
The right lane and exit ramp were closed at Exit 12 near Binghamton and Port Dickinson for several hours.
Local police and fire departments responded to the scene.
According to 511NY, the accident scene was cleared and the roadway was back open by 5:15 pm.
