One lucky person in the community will bring home a ’35 hot rod truck this fall through a raffle being held by the Waverly Central School District.

The truck was built by Waverly students as part of the Winners Circle Project.

In past years, Waverly students have also built three Cobra kit cars and a 65 coupe.

Tickets for the hot rod truck drawing are $100 a piece with a limit of 1,000 tickets available.

The drawing will be held at halftime of the Waverly football team’s homecoming game against Maine-Endwell on Friday, Oct. 10.

Tickets are available at the Waverly bus garage and the Broad Street Barber Shop as well as online here.
