The Broome County Republican Committee unanimously re-elected Benji Federman to another full term as County Chairman.
Serving since January 2023, Federman will continue to lead the Broome GOP into the next gubernatorial election while overseeing critical elections this year for Binghamton Mayor and Broome County Clerk.
“Thank you to our tremendous elected officials and all of my colleagues on the committee who are unified to win elections, grow our party and make our community a better place,” said Chairman Benji Federman. “It’s an honor to lead this organization and help others pursue their dream of running for office.”
Broome County Republican Women’s Club President Darlene Smith was one of several who made a motion for Federman to keep his post.
“Benji Federman has been a steady and natural leader for our local Republican Party, providing consistent guidance and helping deliver victories for our candidates. He’s been a true partner in everything we do, and we congratulate Benji and the entire team on their continued success,” said Republican Women’s Club President Darlene Smith.
Longtime committee members Chris Dziedzic, Laurie Gialanella and Tom Augostini will stay on as First Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.
