A Tompkins County man was killed in a two-car crash in Newfield on Sunday.
According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Shaquille Stuttle was killed in the crash that occurred at the intersection of West Danby Road and Decker Road in Newfield.
An investigation revealed a Toyota 4-Runner was trying to cross the intersection when a Honda CRV being operated by Stuttle attempted to make a left turn in front of it.
The Toyota crashed into the driver’s side door of the Honda.
Stuttle was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and have since been released.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
