An iconic restaurant in the Southern Tier is up for sale.
Bernie Murray’s, located at 500 South Main Street in Elmira, is listed by the Howard Hanna real estate company for $450,000.
The current owner is planning to retire. The restaurant will remain open until the sale and new owner takes over.
The restaurant space was built in 1912 and was remodeled in 2015 after a fire briefly closed the business.
The sale price includes all furniture, kitchen equipment and inventory.
