Arizona woman arrested for bringing gun to Elmira Corning Regional Airport

An Arizona woman was arrested for bringing a loaded gun into the Elmira Corning Regional Airport.

According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, Kaitlin A. Wilson was charged with criminal possession of a firearm in the second degree, which is a Class C felony.

Members of the TSA found a loaded handgun in Wilson’s checked baggage and contacted the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

Wilson does not have a New York State Pistol Permit.

She was processed at the Town of Big Flats Court and sent to the Chemung County Jail.
