Broome-Tioga BOCES gets funding for new Tioga County campus

The Broome-Tioga BOCES will receive a major funding boost to expand its operations in Tioga County.

According to Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, the local BOCES will be getting $811,000 in funding for the Owego Apalachin School District to help renovate a building that will serve as a BOCES satellite campus and adult education facility.

The goal with the expansion is to help Broome-Tioga BOCES better serve the career and tech needs of Owego and the surrounding communities in Tioga County.
