The 27th annual Sayre Borough Christmas Parade is set for this weekend.
The parade will be held on Friday at 6:30 pm and runs down Lockhart Street to Desmond Street and Packer Avene before wrapping up at Howard Elmer Park.
This year’s parade theme is Christmas in America with the event serving as the kickoff to Bradford County’s America 250 Celebration.
The parade will feature over 70 participants, including fire departments, bands, businesses, non-profit groups and of course Santa.
There will be prize money for the top three best decorated emergency services vehicles. The funds have been donated, including from the family of former Mayor John Repasky and Bishop Brothers Construction.
The Sayre Borough Christmas Parade kicks off at 6:30 pm on Friday.
