A former Cornell University student was found guilty of rape in Tompkins County Court.
Following a jury trial, 22-year-old Bilguun Enkhbayar was convicted of rape and burglary.
According to the Tompkins County District Attorney’s Office, Enkhbayar broke into a dorm room and raped a woman. He was charged in September of 2024.
He could face up to 25 years in state prison when he is sentenced in February.
