Longtime Schuyler County Sheriff William Yessman has passed away.
Yessman served as Schuyler County Sheriff for 16 years before retiring in 2021.
He held various positions in the sheriff’s office, including sergeant, lieutenant and undersheriff, for more than 36 years.
Members of the Schuyler County Community and law enforcement have taken to social media to send their condolences and honor Sheriff Yessman’s memory.
