Elmira man charged after harassing Walmart employees with knife

An Elmira man is facing charges after he allegedly menaced employees at a local store with a knife.

According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 52-year-old Joseph T. Kerr has been charged with menacing in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Kerr allegedly harassed employees at the Walmart in Horseheads with a knife.

He was issued an appearance ticket for the Horseheads Town Court.
