The Athens Township Police Benevolent Association has provided 60 kids with Christmas gifts through their Sirens for Santa campaign.
The group raised nearly $27,000 and another $3,000 worth of clothing and toys for the area children.
The presents were distributed to the families during an event on Sunday. Families also received a combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector and Christmas cookies.
This was the 11th year for the Sirens for Santa program through the Athens Township Police Benevolent Assocation.
