Several hikes will be happening on New Year’s Day in the Southern Tier.
Hikes starting at 10 am on Thursday will be held at the Two Rivers State Park in Waverly, Catharine Valley Trail in Watkins Glen, Sugar Hill State Forest in Schuyler County and Taughannock Falls State Park in Trumansburg, which will also hold a hike at 1 pm.
A hike at the Newtown Battlefield State Park in Ashland will also be held at 1.
