Broome County will receive over $7 million from the New York State Regional Economic Development Council.
The county received over $6.2 million dollars to complete an infrastructure project to enable construction of a residential development on 10.67 acres in Johnson City.
The City of Binghamton was awarded $500,000 for the renovation of a three-story, mixed use building on Court Street. The city will also receive $200,000 for a planning initiative.
The Town of Chenango was awarded $90,000 to update its 2015 comprehensive plan.
