Bradford County man sentenced to 5 to 14 years for witness intimidation in drug case

A Bradford County man will spend time in prison over witness tampering in a drug case.

According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 42-year-old Gillett resident Paul Crispell, Jr. was convicted of simple assault by physical menace, felony witness intimidation of a witness and possession with intent to deliver meth.

Crispell attempted to hurt someone by lighting a fire outside their home while out on bail awaiting trial in a drug dealing case. He also offered a witness $100 to not testify against him in court.

Crispell has been sentenced to a minimum of five years to a maximum of 14 years in state prison.
