The Vestal Town Board unanimously approved special permits to allow Williams Auto Group to take over the Skate Estate property.
According to WBNG-TV, many residents spoke at a public hearing on Wednesday about the permits, explaining the impact that Skate Estate has had on the community.
Despit the public comments, the town board approved the permits for Williams Auto Group.
It is unclear when Skate Estate will close for business or when Williams Auto Group will take over the property.
