A 34-year-old man is on trial in Tioga County Court for the murder of Thomas Rath, who was kidnapped and killed in 2023.
Jonathan Glennon is charged with first-and-second degree murder and first-degree kidnapping in the case.
Glennon was one of 13 suspects arrested in the case.
Rath was first reported missing from Ithaca’s homeless encampment known as “The Jungle” in May of 2023. His body was found on state game lands in Candor in August of 2023.
The defense will continue to present its case this week in Tioga County Court.
