Tioga County to participate in DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Tioga County will participate in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day later this month.

The drug disposal event will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 25 at the County Health and Human Services Building, located at 1062 State Route 38 in Owego.

Residents can drop off prescription drugs, including tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms, as well as syringes in hard plastic or sharps containers. No loose sharps will be accepted.

This drive thru event is brought to you by Tioga County Public Health, Tioga County ASAP and Tioga County Sheriff’s Office.
