A Johnson City man is facing charges after a high-speed chase ended in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Binghamton.
According to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at around 9:18 pm on Thursday.
Police saw a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Burr Ave. in the City of Binghamton. Deputies attempted to stop the bike, but the operator failed to comply and took off on Pierce Creek Road.
The operator lost control of the bike and crashed in a grassy area. No injuries were reported from the incident.
According to police, 56-year-old Donald L. Stocks has been charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, obstruction of governmental administration and 10 traffic violations.
