BAE Systems cuts ribbon on new Endicott facility

BAE Systems cut the ribbon on its new facility in Endicott on Wednesday.

The new building will be home to battery and aviation manufacturing for BAE Systems.

The company invested $65 million into the facility.

Wednesday’s ribbon cutting came one year after the demolition of the old IBM buildings across the street.

According to the company, 134 new jobs will be added to the area as a result f the project. The average salary of the positions will be $100,000 per year.
