Binghamton convenience store shut down for selling illegal cannabis

A convenience store in Binghamton has been closed down by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management.

According to WBNG-TV, the Alaska Market on Chenango Street was closed on Wednesday with a sign on the door saying the OCM took illicit cannabis products from the store.

A notice stated that the store was ordered to close and stop the sale of unapproved and unauthorized cannabis products.

The Office of Cannabis Management has yet to make a statement on the closure.
