The Endicott Performing Arts Center has been awarded $50,000 for a roof restoration project.

The funds are coming from the New York State Council on the Arts and will go to the project at the historic Lyric Theater building, which was constructed in 1917.

The center will be able to remain open during construction and the project will not affect their summer schedule.

The Margaret Mee Foundation, Klee Foundation and Decker Foundation are also supporting the project.
